Thursday, 9 September: Late Night Art, Parnell
Late Night Art, second Thursday of each month, has galleries on Parnell Road open until 7.30pm. With a number of new exhibitions just opened, this is a great night to take an art (de)tour before dinner in Parnell! Parnell galleries are serving up a tempting smorgasbord of New Zealand art - the perfect entrée to a night in Parnell.Sunday, 12 September, 5 - 7.30pm:
Celebrate the arrival of Mountain Fountain!
Parnell welcomes the arrival of the sculpture Mountain Fountain by Terry Stringer to Holy Trinity Cathedral, 446 Parnell Road, Parnell. You are invited to join us in celebrating the re-siting of Mountain Fountain from Aotea Square to its new home. The official inauguration will be followed by a FREE CONCERT eaturing Whirimako Black, Parnell's own Stars in Their Eyes winner, Deryn Trainer, children of Parnell District School performing and organist Philip Smith.
