As Auckland's longest-established suburb, Parnell is richly endowed with buildings and landmarks of historic interest. Parnell is also one of Auckland's most picturesque inner city areas, with gorgeous views over the harbour and to the city, hidden parks, and quiet streets lined with rose-covered cottages.

Self Guided Walks
We offer two self-guided walks: one from Auckland's Metro Magazine - a one and a half hour walk up and down Parnell's hills; and a less demanding walk taking in Parnell's historic buildings - Parnell's Heritage - a dozen delights.
