Late Night Art, Parnell
Parnell galleries open until 7.30, Thursday, February 11
Remember that on the second Thursday of each month, Parnell Galleries are open until 7.30pm for Late Night Art. And they're joined by a number of nearby shops.
Take visiting friends and relatives for a stroll down Parnell Road. This is a great way to enjoy a warm summer's night in Parnell - there's music in the street and a good vibe. And when you've visited the galleries, and perhaps bought something, finish the night with dinner at one of our tempting restaurants.
Details of what galleries will be showing will soon be posted at

Cruise Ships in Auckland
Bumper week for cruise ships
More cruise ships come to Auckland in February than in any other month.
Next week's visitors are:
Tuesday 9 Feb:
1.
Diamond Princess - a full exchange of her yp to 3,100 passengers means Auckland can expect a build up of passengers waiting to board inn the days before and then the cruisers who have disembarked (hopefully) lingering in Auckland afterwards. Passengers are mostly American and British and mixed ages.
2. Rhapsody of the Seas
is also in town - transit only for her up to 2,435 passengers - again mostly British and Americans.
Wednesday 10th Feb:
1.
Dawn Princess is back again, in transit with up to 2,250 passengers - more Americans and Brits.
2. Pacific Jewel, carrying mostly families, has up to 2,053 passengers. Day tripping on transit only.
Saturday 13th Feb: Queen Victoria has a partial exchange of up 300 - 400 of her potential 2,172 passengers. This luxury ship carries discerning Americans and British, mostly over 50s.
Parnell businesses can stay updated by downloading Parnell Inc's detailed Auckland Cruise Ship Schedule, beautifully compiled by our last intern Johanna. It includes a little background info to let retailers know who they can expect to see about Parnell!
