Parnell Trust provides daily after school programmes from 3 - 6pm at:

Auckland Catholic Music Schola

The Auckland Catholic Music Schola specialises in liturgical performance of the traditional music of the church, especially Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony. It sings for Sunday Mass at St John the Baptist in Parnell approximately twice a month. New members are welcome in all voice parts; regular practices each Wednesday at St John's.

Black & Bling

Black & Bling is a social women’s group, based in Parnell, targeted at corporate women, single and married, who are seeking fun, friendship and sisterhood.

We meet fortnightly and include activities at other times, say a weekend movie, walk, or a picnic for those interested. Since we’re all busy people, there’s no commitment to attend regularly. Just come along and you’ll be made welcome. If you have a friend who may be interested, please feel free to bring her along. There’s no cost except a nominal amount per meeting to cover some finger food.

Parnell Baths

A hop, skip and a jump from the city, Parnell's 60 metre salt water pool is a one-of-a-kind in Auckland. Located in Auckland's waterfront, the pools have recently been upgraded and are a great place for the whole family to enjoy - especially the water playground for kids. Parnell Swimming Club

Parnell Swimming Club is one of New Zealand's most successful swimming clubs. Under its Director of Coaching Bernie Poole, the club is focussed on delivering a "Pathway to Excellence" for all its swimmers. Our training base is at the Sacred Heart College in Glen Innes, which boasts a world class 25m training facility and an outdoor 33m pool. Remuera Lions Club

Since 1917, Lions clubs have offered people the opportunity to give something back to their communities. From involving members in projects as local as cleaning up an area park or as far-reaching as bringing sight to the world's blind, Lions clubs have always embraced those committed to building a brighter future for their community.

The Remuera Lions Club's Social/Dinner Meeting is on the second Tuesday of each month, 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start, at The St Mark's Hall 95 Remuera Road Remuera.
Business Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St Marks Church Hall Remuera 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start.

Rotary Club of Parnell

The Rotary Club of Parnell Inc has a reputation as an effective and fun Rotary club. Our membership is drawn from a variety of occupations and each member brings a high level of energy and commitment to achieving the goals of the club and Rotary International.

The club has been actively involved in organising charity golf tournaments in conjunction with Progressive Enterprises that have, over the last five years raised $500,000 for Alzheimers Auckland. Similar charity golf tournaments run in conjunction with Continental Car Services have raised considerable funds for the Breast Cancer Research Trust. The Clubs' other achievements include obtaining funding and equipment for Glenbrae School (a decile 1 school), supplying Rota boats to the Pacific Islands, sponsoring young people to attend Rotary Youth Leadership Programmes and travel overseas on Ambassadorial Scholarships. The Club supports Ward 7A at Auckland Hopsital and regularly contributes to other worthwhile community projects.

Parnell Clubs' goal is always to have fun as well as achieve satisfactory outcomes for the projects undertaken.

Yang Tsin Su (YTS)

YTS covers the training of body, energy and mind for all ages, genders and body conditions. YTS is an extremely powerful tool, the soft flowing movements calm the body and mind, dispelling negative emotions and leaving you in a state of tranquility. When the body is aligned and the movements synchronized, the internal energy is able to flow unhindered, enabling the body to return to balance, thereby making it more efficient at building its own energy.

Paul Smith (Fourth Grade YTS instructor) holds classes weekly. At the end of each class, he teaches energy-building meditation. First class is free. $10 per class threafter.
