essenze is a curated collection and showcase of New Zealand design, featuring the work of more than 35 designers. Furniture, lighting, objects and rugs, all designed and made in New Zealand .

Parnell's fabulous New Zealand design store, opened at its brand new purpose-built premises at 223 Parnell Road – just a quick roll down the hill from its former location at # 285 – on February 24th, 2011.

The new essenze store is four-times larger, with three-times the display space, allowing it to carry a greatly expanded range of amazing New Zealand-designed and made product. There are now dedicated areas for lighting, rugs and furniture, and everything looks stunning. Customers have compared the new store to something you'd see in New York. Mana NZ Crafted Art & Design

Situated in one of the beautiful old houses in Parnell Village you will find Mana NZ art and design store. Mana embodies the heart of NZ design with its large selection of glass art, contemporary jewellery, ceramics, original art and prints, sculpture and so much more.

Mana is perfect for that unique gift for someone special, we have cast glass wall birds by Lukeke Design, Simon Wards cast glass power poles, Ross Richards colourful tulip ceramic vases, or an original ceramic wall tile by Karleen Winters.

Have a unique piece of jewellery customized to suit, owner Tanya Bentley has her individual range of contemporary silver and gold jewellery some of which is exclusive to Parnell or choose from our wide range including jewellery by Kiri Schumacher, Lisa West, Alistair Hudson, Justin Ferguson and poem rings by Ailish Roughan. A large variety of NZ jade is also on offer.
