With the down under tennis season nigh upon us, there’ll no doubt be many who have made plans to attend the ASB Classic and Heineken Open taking place at number one Stanley Street. As one of the most revered sports for spectatorship, there’s little not to love about a day spent in the sunshine, supping on Pimm’s whilst oohing and ahhing over the athleticism of some of the world’s best tennis players. Those in possession of tickets are no doubt awaiting the advent of early January with much anticipation, however it does beg the question of how to make the most of this celebrated sporting event? Thankfully, 46 & York have stepped up to the occasion, recognising their proximity to the grand stand location. For the duration of both tournaments, the Parnell hosts will be opening earlier than usual, at 9am to be exact, and will be serving up an array of delicious brunch offerings with a recommended side of Champagne.
Featuring on the ephemeral morning menu, you’ll be able to find lightweight options such as fruit salad, a delicious avocado smash or more substantial servings of baked eggs that will no doubt have you in good stead for the day ahead. Furthermore, a glass of the plentiful Moët & Chandon available will further foster your mood. And the best part about the fact that 46 & York have appointed themselves as your one and only port of call, both before the matches commence and after the last serve is dealt, is that it’s all an easy 200 metre meander away from the action. Going further to see that big screens are on site to show all the action at all times, there’ll be no qualms about staying put or arriving fashionably late either. Not only that, but every customer who visits 46 & York for the duration of the two tournaments will go into the draw to win two tickets to the final of the Men’s Heineken Open.
46 & York will be extending their opening hours starting at 9am from Monday January 5th to Saturday 10th for the ASB Classic Women’s Tournament and then again on Monday January 12th until Saturday 17th for the Heineken Open Men’s Tournament.”
