Alvin has just recently returned from China where two of his paintings RESURGENCE and SPIRITUAL REVIVAL were exhibited in the prestigious 8th Beijing International Art Biennale 2019. He said that the Beijing Biennale experience was fantastic!. There were 113 countries, 595 artists, and 640 pieces of artworks at the Beijing Biennale.
New Zealand was given a prominent position on the ground floor of five floors. Only four artists were chosen for special hosting in China. Alvin, Jimmy James Kouratoras, Evan Woodruff and Peter Panyoczki.
This is wonderful news for Alvin and for New Zealand art.
