Piera McArthur’s most recent exhibition ‘Love is in the air, says Aphrodite’, opened at Jonathan Grant Gallery on the 5th May and has been a near sellout.
Several sales took place from the catalogue and the website before the exhibition even opened and the opening evening was well attended. Piera was her inimitable self, entertaining guests with her stories and explanations of each artwork.
‘A bemused yellow cow looks up to see lovers float by on Cloud Nine, totally self-absorbed victims of the irresistible chemical attraction of True Love. For Love is in the air, and mankind is longing to possess it’.
A total of 20 sales took place in the first week, which is nearly an exhibition sellout!
