What do you think Parnell needs from Council?
As you well know, Wayne Brown has been recently elected our mayor and is busy establishing his policies and objectives. The members of the Waitematā Local Board are also newly elected.
Pre COVID, we believe there were successive years of huge underinvestment by the council in Parnell, and needless to say COVID did not help matters. The Parnell Plan was launched late in 2019, and we need to lobby to get some of those plans back on track – which is not going to be easy given the massive constraints on budget in the near future.
