The Village Square, formerly known as Parnell Trust, takes the best care of school children with before and after school programmes and amazing school holiday activities delivered by experienced and energetic staff in a fun and safe environment.

School Holiday Programmes

Every school holidays, The Village Square Trust’s enthusiastic Programmes for Children team thinks up fantastic activities and outings for 5-14 year-olds. We place a huge emphasis on fun, adventure and ensuring the children in our care are never bored!

Each holidays we offer plenty of fun options for your kids, with activities from $60 a day:

1. Two School Holiday Programme locations to choose from:
Epsom Normal Primary School, 41 The Drive, Epsom
Jubilee Building, 545 Parnell Road, Parnell

2. A wide choice of activities for 5-14 year-olds:

CLUB HOUSE: Loads of fun on site every day at Epsom and Parnell schools.
ADVENTURE SEEKERS: Exhilarating adventures out and about in the Auckland area.
ON THE MOVE: High energy activities, mostly off-site.
SPECIAL PROJECTS: Exciting technical/Computer challenges for 9-14 year olds! Full day and multi-day options. (Parnell only)

• Our longer hours are perfect for working parents: drop children off at the school you’ve selected as early as 7.30am and collect them as late as 6pm at no extra charge.
• The Village Square Trust has been looking after children for more than 20 years. We’ve got all the systems, processes and training in place to make joining us as effortless as possible for parents and a lot of fun for your children.
• In all activities, we place children in compatible age groups to ensure they are safe and have the best time.
• We take the best care of your children – most of our staff are trainee primary school teachers and all our programmes meet Department of Child, Youth and Family Services standards.
• As our programmes are accredited by Ministry of Social Development, subsidies are available.

After & Before School Programmes

During the school term, The Village Square Trust manages daily After School Programmes at two local schools, from 3 – 6pm.

A variety of planned activities, homework time and free play are incorporated each day. Children benefit from the opportunity to meet and socialise with other children while also being given the space to concentrate on homework activities. A healthy afternoon tea is also provided.
