Showstopper

Uma Tuffnell is currently undertaking her Art History Masters, researching the change to arts funding models in 1990’s Aotearoa and their impacts on galleries and artists. In ‘showstopper’, Tuffnell examines how these Neoliberal systems have influenced her own artistic practice and considers what it means to resist the pressure to perform.
Sitting in the historic building at Parnell Station, Chez Derriere’s opening hours are 10am – 2pm Thursday to Saturday, 5 November – 19 November.
