Morphogenesis
4-20 October
Artist talk: Saturday 4 October 1-4pm
Morphogenesis seems a perfect reference point for Michael McHugh’s new body of work—the word literally means ‘creation of form’ describing the mechanical and biological processes that give rise to the organised spatial distribution of cells, tissues and organs.
The artists constant search for new forms revealing levels of detail with incredible textures, patterns and depth of tone and colour creates universes within each canvas taking the viewer into new worlds that you simply lose yourself within.
