Solo exhibition
10—24 September
Parnell Gallery is delighted to present twelve new paintings by South Island painter, Neil Driver, that sensitively guide the observer toward details that might otherwise be overlooked, such as the beauty to be found in the texture of a wooden crate, or an exquisitely rendered collection of objects from the garden gathered in time-worn vessels.
In his landscapes and interiors, Driver invites the viewer into his vision, to gaze out at mountains and ocean views through light-filled windows and doors, to observe natural and human-built elements on the landscape with a dream-like sense that transports us to a place that sits outside of time.
