Remember, too, the gallery scene is always changing, with new artists arriving and new exhibitions on the go, so why not make gallery-hopping a regular weekend activity.

Arts professionals collectively curate and facilitate events and installations to create a dynamic and exciting “week” showcasing Auckland’s amazing visual arts community. Parnell is on show on the 10 October 2015.
In the heart of the historic Parnell Village
Over merely a 100m or so stretch of Parnell Road, right in the heart of the historic Parnell Village, lie some of Auckland’s best galleries, with a few more scattered just a short distance from Parnell Road itself. Parnell Road is perfectly located in amongst some of the best dining and shopping on offer in Auckland – so in between the gallery discoveries, there are plenty of opportunities to relax over a bite to eat or coffee and reflect on everything you’ve seen.
