The FIFA Women’s World Cup is off to a roaring start, with New Zealand’s Football Ferns winning the opening match against Norway. We’ve been working hard to raise Parnell’s tourism profile, as well as hosting events that cater to the interests of both locals and visitors.
Where to watch the matches
If you haven’t been able to nab tickets to your favourite games, you can still enjoy the experience of watching with other football enthusiasts. The Paddington will be screening matches on their TV, and you can also enjoy a classic Kiwi pie while you’re there!
Tourist events
Parnell Road is home to an abundance of galleries, and White Glove Experiences will be hosting multiple art walks over the FIFA period. These walks bring tourist groups into Parnell galleries, and also involve supporting local hospitality.
