For businesses using vaccination certificates:
If your destination in Parnell is using vaccination certificates you can enjoy the following if you are fully vaccinated:
• hospitality
• retail
• gatherings, such as at places of worship or marae
• weddings and civil union ceremonies
• funerals and tangihanga
• events (indoor/outdoor)
• gyms.
These places who use vaccination certificates will be able to open with up to 100 people, based on 1 metre physical distancing.
Some close contact businesses with public health requirements in place may be able to open with other requirements, please head to the retailer’s website to determine if this applies to your destination.
For businesses not using vaccination certificates:
If your destination in Parnell whether that be a business, organisation or service, does not request proof of vaccine, the following restrictions will apply.
• Hospitality will continue to operate contactless only.
• Gatherings, such as at places of worship or marae will only allow up to 10 people.
• Weddings and civil union ceremonies will only allow up to 10 people.
• Funerals and tangihanga will only allow up to 10 people.
These places will not be able to operate without a vaccine certificate requirement:
• Events (indoor and outdoor) will not go ahead.
• Close contact businesses (for example hairdressers, salons) will not be allowed to operate.
• Gyms will not be allowed to open.
