This year, teen artist Noon Seeto has put time and energy into creating a piece of piggy art for the Year of the Pig Exhibition and Auction being held in Parnell from the 9 Feb onwards, in celebration of the Year of the Pig.
Noon who was only 6 years old when her sister Ruby was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 9 has seen first hand how important the care and attention given at Starship Children’s Hospital is.
Her piggy, named ‘Little Piggy Big City’ is one of more than 20 pieces of art that will be taking over Parnell as part of the Chinese New Year Exhibition from the 9-24 Feb and live Auction on the 28 Feb at Jonathan Grant Galleries.
Funds raised from the auction will be donated to the Starship Air Ambulance Service. Read the full article written by Lincoln Tan from the New Zealand Herald about Noon Seeto and her little pig.
