LIVE at the Museum is back with a special New Zealand Music Month performance from the iconic Annie Crummer, and special guest Papa Will Crummer. Backing Annie to bring the magic alive will be a team of five talented musicians and vocalists who are well-versed in the ukelele, pa’u and the addictive rhythms of the Pacific.
Annie Crummer MNZM is a music legend and has one of New Zealand’s best-loved and most traveled voices. She has toured with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Sir Paul McCartney, Sting, Michael Jackson, K.D Lang and Ray Charles.
Annie’s ability to write authentic lyrics that effortlessly weave through well-crafted, catchy melodies has cemented her growing reputation as an accomplished songwriter, vocalist, and live performance artist. Joining her on this special occasion is her father, Papa Will Crummer, who is no stranger to the spotlight. With his Cook Island-born talents, he has performed around the Pacific, Tahiti, and Hawaii before arriving in Aotearoa, where he has shared his incredible talent at the infamous Orange Hall and Reefcomber. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable musical experience!
Annie Crummer will be supported by Dixon Nacey, Saylene Tanielu-Ulberg, Selina Patia, Gail Tipene and Tai Royal.
Tree and Mal Lakatani will also perform, presented in collaboration with the Pacific Music Awards as part of their Tautua programme, supporting Pacific artists.
