Muchukunda Das—’Change of Heart’

  • Published January 18, 2022
  • in General News

Located at the Wintergarden Cafe, Muchukunda’s Tail ‘Change of Heart’ is inspired by the phrase “a change of heart makes an ocean of difference”.

Muchukunda Das is committed to generating inspiration and self-reflection. By using bold lines and universally recognisable symbols in different ways, he tries to interrupt unconscious mindsets with forward thinking ideas such as mindfulness, compassion, resilience and being of service.

"A change of heart makes an ocean of difference."

—Muchukunda Das

Muchukunda has a Bachelor of Youth Development, and has previously worked professionally with organisations that help underprivileged and troubled youth. He hopes to pay it forward and make a difference for others.

With his small business ArtJam, he offers street art workshops to youth interested in graffiti culture, guiding them towards positive art rather than destructive vandalism, and teaching skills that people will pay for. Most importantly, he aims to support young people in their transition from adolescence to adulthood, making sure that those with difficult lives get to have fun and a chance to “just be kids” along the way.
