Hattitude is the catchy name of Auckland’s newest and most comprehensive emporium of fashion and casual hats, opening 5th August at 235 Parnell Road.
Inspiration for Hattitude came when founder Sharon McCavana’s partner, hat enthusiast Nigel Barton, inherited a collection of hats from his father and started to wear them everywhere. He was stunned by the reaction of friends and people on the street, both admiring what he was wearing and wanting similar items for themselves. That led to a resurgence in their love of hats, and with huge encouragement from friends, a journey that took them to the great hat-making companies of the world, culminating in their new Parnell store.
Stocked full of exclusive designs and hats from historical makers from the USA, Europe and Australasia, Hattitude aims to be the first and last word in hats for dress, casual or chic for any occasion under the sun.
