Following a year of extensive consultation with a range of key stakeholders, the Parnell Blueprint was developed which fed into the rebrand for Parnell.
Parnell – the Space to Be was revealed to members during November’s network meeting at Ogilvy and Mather. As Parnell Business Association members, Ogilvy has a keen interest in supporting Parnell as well as being a part of it the rebrand development.
The new brand allows for a celebration of all things in Parnell, past, present and future. With a focus on the use of the word ‘space’, it is all encompassing.
The new logo mirrors the topography of Parnell (a village on a hill) as well as metaphorically references the turning point in Parnell economically, as evidenced not only by the increase in spend in the area, but also the growth through redevelopment.
We were reminded that Parnell really has it all – including spaces to do work and live in, spaces to exercise or relax in, spaces to entertain in, spaces to eat and drink in, spaces in which to worship, spaces to grow in, to mention a few. We have top art galleries, the largest salt-water swimming pool, glorious rose gardens, a history of being the oldest suburb, exclusive boutique retail outlets and so much more.
The launch received a positive response from the large turn out of members who were eager to listen and engage with the presentation. Our thanks to Ogilvy’s for their dedication, expertise and belief in a Parnell that is moving forward. We are on the rise and will continue to celebrate what makes us unique as well as what defines us.
