New Zealand Opera’s 2020 season will resume this September with a brand-new immersive production of Handel’s Semele, to be staged at Parnell’s Holy Trinity Cathedral. The season is limited to five performances from 10 – 19 September. To secure your tickets click here.
New Zealand Opera will also open its doors for a special open day during Semele rehearsals on Saturday 22 August from 12.30pm. They are letting us know well in advance so we can put it in our diaries! We’ll be able to see behind the scenes preparations for the production, including costumes, wigs and make-up and the chance to watch part of a rehearsal. Free entry and family-friendly.
