| In Chinese culture, pigs are the symbol of wealth. Pigs have a beautiful personality and are said to be blessed with good fortune. After the result of this year’s ‘Parnell Pig’ auction, we are inclined to agree! Parnell invited 21 artists and celebrities to place their time, talent and passion into creating precious pigs to be auctioned off with the key purpose of raising money for Starship – National Air Ambulance. This year the total being donated is over $20,000! Going into the live auction with record online bids made the auction a nail biting experience. All of the little pigs went to market, and all found their way to a new home.
