Following the successful charity auction, our monkeys are now on another journey to their new home.
Jack by Trelise Cooper now lives in Jakarta with a family. Their daughter, who has just come back from a major fashion design house in London, would love Jack’s impeccable taste in fashion.
The Business Monkey by Hannah Andersen has now moved to Palmerston North.
Graham, the pink monkey by Mark Olsen, didn’t venture too far away and is now living in the Waikato.
The pair Yin and Yang by Piera McArthur decided Europe was their home of choice and now live in Germany. We hope this pair will bring much joy to their European buyer in 2016.
A buyer from Los Angeles loved technicolour Josephine by Dalene Meiring. He has transported Josephine to live in his New Zealand cottage.
Paul Goldsmith also placed a successful bid on the night. In his column in Scoop.co.nz he writes ‘I was pleased to pick up a monkey at Parnell Inc.’s Year of the Monkey exhibition. Artists and celebrities added their creative genius to the monkeys and their creations were auctioned in support of the Starship Foundation’s National Air Ambulance Service. Well done Parnell!’ Paul Goldsmith bought Indie by Aviva van der Heever.
