Ever wondered what goes on behind those lengthy paragraphs of an actor’s Wikipedia page or how Wikipedia rose in notability throughout the 2000s? Come join us at the Auckland Museum for an exciting in-person event to learn about this and more!
The Wikipedia Editathon: Trailblazers of Tāmaki Makaurau is all about celebrating the trailblazers who have shaped our vibrant city while also encouraging young people to engage with Wikipedia and enhance the Auckland local histories content page on Wikipedia.
We invite you to join us in improving existing articles or creating new articles on trailblazers who contribute to the prosperity of Auckland’s community and culture. Whether you’re a seasoned editor or a newbie, everyone is welcome! You don’t need to be an expert in Wikipedia or in history but come open-minded and willing to learn.
