TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Competition is owned and promoted by the Parnell Business Association.

The Competition begins 1 December 2018 and ends 6 January 2019.

The Competition offers one prize winner the first prize of two return flight tickets to Hong Kong thanks to Cathay Pacific.

Cathay Pacific flights are subject to availability and may not be available at certain peak times such as: months of December/January, Chinese New Year period and Hong Kong Rugby Sevens period. Tickets must be utilised by 30 November 2019 and have a 3 month travel validity.

The Cathay Pacific tickets are not upgradeable. The tickets are non-transferable.

The draw is final otherwise no correspondence or communication will be taken into account.

Passport and Visa requirements for the travel and any cost associated with those will be the responsibility of the winner.

All accommodation, transportation and other expenses in Hong Kong or during travel with be will be the responsibility of the winner.

Travel insurance and or any other related medical assessments are responsibility of the winner.

Parnell Business Association and Cathay Pacific are not responsible for rebooking or refinancing the ticket in case the flight is missed by the winner.

The winner will be drawn randomly after 3.00pm on 6 January 2019.

Entry is only possible via the Entry Form on the ‘WIN A CATHAY CHRISTMAS’ Competition Page.

A competition entry is accepted only after an entrant accurately completes all prescribed entry details in full on the Competition Page.

Entrants into the competition MUST RETAIN proof of purchase by way of a receipt for a spend of $20 or more in a Parnell business, within the Parnell BID boundary only, and be able to provide the proof of purchase if they are drawn as the winner.

By Entering the Competition, the Entrant agrees to be bound by the ‘WIN A CATHAY CHRISTMAS’ Competition Terms and Conditions 2018, as published on 28 November 2018.

Entry into the Competition is deemed as being acceptance of these Parnell Competition Terms and Conditions.

Parnell Business Association reserves the right to change the rules or end the Competition at any time.

Parnell Business Association reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

COMPETITION ENTRY

To Enter, an Entrant must:
a. complete each section on the Entry Form, and provide his or her full and correct name, email address, city or town that they live in and phone number, as well as agree to receiving promotional correspondence from the Parnell Business Association
b. be a New Zealand resident
c. agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, by way of entry
d. be able to collect their prize from Parnell Business Association during working hours
e. winner agrees to have their name and photo published by Parnell Business Association
Entrants must spend $20 or more in Parnell business and supply proof of purchase by way of receipt. Parnell businesses are those that are full members of Parnell Business Association and are located within the Parnell Business Improvement District (BID).
Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they wish, but each entry must be accompanied by a separate receipt, as proof of purchase, for a $20 or more spend in a Parnell business. One entry per receipt (for a purchase of $20 or more).
Parnell Business Association will draw the Prize Winner from the correct online entry forms submitted after 3.00pm on 6 January 2019.
Parnell Business Association will make reasonable attempts to contact the ‘WIN A CATHAY CHRISTMAS’ Prize Winner by phone and email, as provided in the online entry form. If Parnell Business Association is unable to contact the Winner within 3 working days of the draw, or if the Winner is not able to, or cannot verify their purchase within 1 day, or does not accept the Prize, Parnell Business Association will re-draw the Prize and the original Prize Winner will have no claim to this or any other Prize.
In order to be awarded the Prize, the Prize Winner needs to be able to confirm via digital or electronic means a copy of their proof of purchase within 1 day of being notified, then be able to visit the offices of Parnell Business Association within an agreed timeframe, from when they are notified of being the Winner. If the Winner is unable to do so, the Prize Winner will be redrawn and they will have no claim to this or any other Prize.
The Prize Winner will be required to sign the Prize Redemption Form and present Parnell Business Association with proof of identification in the form of a driver’s licence, birth certificate or passport, plus the purchase receipt. Parnell Business Association reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize if proof of identification is not deemed acceptable in any way.
The Prize Winner can only redeem their tickets by visiting in person
The Cathay Pacific return tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and no upgrades given. It is not valid for purchase of any travel insurance, foreign exchange or visas and is subject to space availability. Visa and passport requirements and any travel/medical insurances are the responsibility of the Prize Winner; neither Parnell Business Association nor Cathay Pacific accept responsibility for arranging and paying for these.
Parnell Business Association and Cathay Pacific will not be liable for any additional costs or responsibilities relating to the Prize tickets.
If the Prize Winner is aged 18 years or under, then the Prize will be awarded to the Prize Winner’s parent or guardian on their behalf. The Prize Winner’s parent or guardian must also provide proof of their identification. Parnell Business Association reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize Voucher if proof of identification is not deemed acceptable in any way.
Entry is open to all New Zealand residents except: employees of Parnell Business Association and their immediate families, and the owners and employees of Cathay Pacific. Employees of Parnell businesses are excluded from entering if their purchase is from the business they work for.
