23-year old Karen Khachanov, who has long been touted as one of the future stars on the ATP, will be returning to the ASB Classic this January.
Khachanov’s last 12 months have included some huge victories including winning his home tournament in Moscow as well as the season ending Masters 1000 event in Paris last November where he recorded an impressive four victories over top ten players to claim the title, including over current world number 1, Novak Djokovic.
Khachanov returns to the ASB Classic after appearing in 2017 and 2018, where he made a quarter finals appearance against eventual finalist Juan Martin del Portro.
